Five TSC Girls ECNL Teams Travel to Phoenix for National Showcase Event

Phoenix, AZ — Five Tennessee Soccer Club ECNL Girls teams (2000s, 2001s, 2002s, 2003s and 2004s) traveled over the weekend to compete in the ECNL (Elite Clubs National League) Spring Showcase Event held in Phoenix.

Several times throughout the year, ECNL member clubs from across the United States are invited to participate in events that are designed to give players top level competition from teams around the country they otherwise would not see. This year, our girls ECNL teams have participated in showcase events in Florida, Texas and now Phoenix.

“We are fortunate to be a part of the ECNL and our players definitely benefit from that environment,” said TSC Director of ECNL Dean Blain. “This weekend each of our teams played against very talented players in front of over 150 college coaches over a three day period. For a young player who has a desire for college soccer, that environment cannot be replicated.”

TSC boys and girls ECNL teams will continue play this spring to round out the 2017-18 year. Congrats to these five girls teams for having a successful weekend in Phoenix!
