Tennessee Soccer Club

The 01 Boys North Academy closed the Fall 2012 season with a trip to the GSA tournament in Northeast Atlanta.  Both the Premier and Elite team reached the championship before falling to quality sides.

Premiers beat Chilpanchigo and Concorde Fire North Black before meeting GSA Sporting in the championship.  A scoreless draw could not be resolved in extra time and finally GSA prevailed 4-3 in kicks despite great keeping by Jake Severino.  Final aggregate for the tournament was 8-2 for the Premiers.

Elites advanced as flight champions after a very tight match with Dacula SC. Other victories were against GSA Porto and Excel FC.  Aggregate in group play was 8-3 for the Eites. The Elites fell to a very good Columbus FC Red Star in the finals 3-0.  

Both Premier and Elite teams featured guest players from the U12 Boys and Girls Academies, making these successes a true measure of the strength of a combined club and great academy system.
