Years pass but the tricks are not lost and that was clearly demonstrated last Saturday at the Odeum in Villa Park stadium, where a team of former stars of other veterans Mexico defeated the U.S. by 15-11 in an exhibition that allowed Fans remember the past.

He had barely played a minute when Missael Espinoza and Roy Lassiter had already scored a goal for each of their teams, to confirm that both have less hair every day but forgot to score a goal against.

The match featured other former stars like Luis "El Matador" Hernandez, Ramon Ramirez and Guadalupe Castañeda on the side of the Aztecs and Danny Califf for Americans. Both teams were completed with other local players from different teams...

"The weekend was a lot of fun.  I had a former professional friend of mine contact me and invite me to play at the last minute.

Hearing about the quality of players in Hernandez and Ramirez and others that were going to be there, I jumped at the opportunity," said Jose Londono.

"The level of respect and ability these American and Mexican players still command was impressive.  Chicago is a big city with lots going on and everywhere we went we were greeted by mobs of fans.  I was happy to be a part of the weekend."
