Tennessee Soccer Club is excited to announce Stacey Daniels as the Performance Director of the club. Stacey joins Tennessee Soccer Club to oversee and provide guidance in performance training for our teams.
Previous to arriving in Tennessee in Stacey was employed by the world renowned sports institution; IMG Academy. Stacey’s 11 years at IMG was spent leading dual gender sport specific performance and annual multi-season programming.
He was highly involved with the U-17 National Soccer Team. In his first two years with the team, he spent time with some of America’s best talents; Freddy Adu, Eddie Johnson, Jozy Altidore , Michael Bradley and Jonathon Spector. Daniels led the performance development for the team in preparation of the World Cup and Pre-Qualifying events. He created curriculum through testing, assessment and player profiling. Stacey also worked with MLS club Real Salt Lake and developed various programs that targeted team goals, individual improvement, positioning.
In 2010, Stacey was an integral part of creating curriculum for an Under Armour powered brand called Combine360. A comprehensive assessment was created to allow coaches and players to understand the traits of the developing athlete. Focal areas included anthropometric (height, weight), performance (speed, agility, and conditioning), biomechanical function, nutrition and vision.
Stacey is a graduate of Springfield College (MA) with a degree in Applied Exercise Science. During his college career, he was a 4 year varsity soccer letterman. Daniels was named ALL NEWMAC Conference and ALL NEW ENGLAND honors in both 1999 and 2001.
