The Tennessee SC 01 Boys are champions of Boys U12 Vapor 11v11 and Boys U12 Mercurial 8v8 flights as well as finalists in the Boys U12 Mercurial 11v11 flight at the inaugural Tennessee Nike Invitational tournament in Franklin and Brentwood, May 10-12, 2013.
In the Vapor 11v11 flight, the 01 Boys played teams from Memphis, Atlanta, and Charlotte, going undefeated and winning the finals with a golden goal in extra time, 2-1.
The boys made it to the finals of the Mercural 11v11 flight by going undefeated in the round-robin, beating an Alabama team in the semifinals and losing a tough game in the finals.
In the Mercurial 8v8 flight, the 01 Boys were able to avenge their only loss of the weekend by battling to a strong finals victory, 5-1.
Tennessee SC 2014 Elite went 3-0 at the rainy, cold, and muddy Adidas Premier Invitational in Memphis. They outscored their opponents 8-1 to bring home the championship! Way to go girls - CONGRATS!

Many members of Tennessee SC 01 worked with Brent Goulet, former national team player ('86-'90) and current USSF Development Academy scout, as he trained TSC coaches in an education session. Coach Goulet demonstrated activities around first touch and technique.
Tennessee SC 01 went undefeated at the Scott Gallagher Spring Classic in St. Louis, April 13-14, barely missing the playoffs on tiebreakers. They played a tough schedule, tying the eventual champions, and impressing representatives of Scott Gallagher, also a Nike Premier Club.
The U12 Boys D1 State League matches are now underway. TSC 01 Premier North defeated Tennessee United Soccer Club at Crockett Park on Sunday (3/17) by a score of 3-1. Midway through the first half, Michael Todd scored the first goal, followed by a PK goal from Luke. Luke repeated with a goal in the second half to secure the win. Jake held his ground with several strong saves. TSC 01 Premier North and TSC 01 Premier South will meet on Thursday for their State League match.
Tennessee SC 17 attended the Concorde-Fire Challenge Cup in the Atlanta, GA area the weekend of February 16-17. This was TSC 17 first event of the spring season and they started the season by winning the championship of the Champions Division. For their first game Saturday, TSC 17 played BUSA 99 ECNL, the 2012 AL state champions, and won 1-0. In their second game, TSC 17 played United FA 99 Red (GA) and won 3-0. On Sunday, TSC 17 played Concorde-Fire ECNL, the 2012 GA state semi-finalists, and tied 1-1 in a very hard fought and well played game. Concorde-Fire had a 1-0 lead at halftime and TSC 17 tied the game late in the 2nd half. With the tie to Concorde-Fire, TSC 17 advanced to the championship game against CSA ECNL U14, the 2012 North Carolina state champions. In the finals, neither team could find the back of the net with both teams defense stepping it up whenever the other team had scoring opportunities. On the final play of regulation, TSC 17 was able to finally score on a free kick set piece outside the box with the whistle blowing shortly after the ball hitting the back of the net. TSC 17 won the game 1-0 in a very exciting final. For the tournament, TSC 17 went undefeated, scored 6 goals, and allowed 1. Congratulations Coach and girls!
Tennesssee SC 01 played their first 11v11 games as a group, combining players from the Premier North and South academies when they traveled to Birmingham for games against the U12 Birmingham Legends and U12 BUSA. They enjoyed the challenges of learning full-sided soccer tacts and camaraderie of working and hanging out together.
The boys look forward to their first combined tournament experience at the Concorde Fire Challenge Cup in Atlanta and Vulcan Cup in Birmingham.
Congratulations to following Tennessee SC U12 boys who were selected to the 2000 Tennessee State Team of the Olympic Development Program (ODP): Luke Bernatavitz, Hunter Bossman, Will Henke, Blake Pruitt, and Sean Spoletini.
110 players from around the state originally tried out in November. After playing at the Region III sub-regionals in Winston-Salem, NC, last weekend, these five boys are on the final roster of 36. They will next play in inter-state friendlies in March and participate in State training before heading to Tuscaloosa, AL, for Region Camp over the summer.

The Tennessee Soccer Club 01 Boys ended the Fall 2012 season in style when two teams went undefeated on Saturday and swept into the championship game of BUSA's Collegiate Championship Junior Showcase tournament in Birmingham. The U12 boys division featured teams from Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.
Most of the boys also watched the College Cup semifinals and championship game over the weekend. Indiana University beat Georgetown University 1-0 in the finals at Regions Park in Hoover, AL, giving their program an eighth title.
