The Red Diamond Vulcan Cup is the Southeast's premier tournament for the month of March. The 2012 Vulcan Cup Tournament hosted 270 teams from 14 states.  Held in centrally-located Birmingham with its mild climate, the Vulcan Cup is an ideal early-season tournament for our more northerly neighbors.  For our neighbors from the milder climes, it presents the opportunity to play teams you otherwise would have to travel far to see. Games are played on top-quality Bermuda-grass fields at several venues. Admission is selective; however, this year, top-division state champions will be assured admission, space permitting.
