U12 Boys Tennessee Soccer Club 01 Win Tournament in Bowling Green

At the 2012 Kick or Treat Tournament in Bowling Green, KY, hosted by Southern Kentucky Soccer Club (SKY), the 01 Boys entered two teams and won the tournament.  Unfortunately, the two teams had to meet in the semifinals today after excellent play on Saturday.  The champions went 4-0 and amassed an impressive 42-2 goals for-against.

The boys enjoyed playing in this event because they were able to play mostly teams from Central and Western Kentucky, whom they don't normally get a chance to see.

    Lose 2-1 in Final

The 01 Boys had a great weekend of soccer with their first trip up to St. Louis.  The Elite team lost in a close Final match, 2-1, after going 2-1-0 in the round-robin.  The Premier team also went 2-1-0, amassing 15-3 goals for-against and losing to the eventual champions. The boys enjoyed seeing new teams, from Missouri and Illinois.
