Each year at the end of the Fall season, TNFC 99 Valkyrie has a service project that they do for the community and a year end party. This started 3 years ago when the girls were part of the TNFC 99 Academy. That year the TNFC 99 Academy visited the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt bringing items (individual activity bags; individual “ready to make” craft kits; and items for the snack carts) for the children at the hospital. Last year TNFC 99 Valkyrie attended the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Nashville, TN bringing items from the House and Family Room wish lists. The girls got a tour of the House and got to visit with some of the children. This year the girls did a book drive for the Mercy Clinic in Franklin, TN. The clinic hands out free books to all the children who come to the clinic for services. At the end of the evening the girls went to Pie in the Sky Pizza (Cool Springs) for the year end party. Thanks to the girls, Coach Nicole, and the parents for making this a special event.

The Valkyrie players and parents watched the Stanford Cardinals defeat the Florida State Seminoles 3-0 in the first semi-final and then in the second semi-final, watched the Duke Blue Devils defeat the Wake Forest Demon Deacons 4-1. On Sunday in the NCAA championship game, Stanford defeated Duke 1-0. TNFC 99 Valkyrie attended the USA Mens national team international friendly vs the Paraguay national team at LP Field on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. The girls were part of the largest attended soccer game in the state of Tennessee (attendance 29,059). Even though USA lost the match 0-1 and it was cold and raining, the girls had a "great" time. The players, parents, and coach would like to thank TNFC for organizing the event and for having the "TNFC Tail-gate party". The tail-gate party consisted of having free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks for all the players and their families. Thanks to all the people who organized the event, prepared the food, and those doing the face painting and hair coloring. It was a "great" event and the TNFC 99 Valkyrie families are very thankful..
