Tennessee Soccer Club Update - Suspended Activity Through April 30
Hi TSC families,
We hope that all of you are continuing to stay safe and healthy while our community continues to adjust to this new way of life in response to COVID-19.
Earlier today, both US Youth Soccer (USYS) and the Tennessee State Soccer Association (TSSA) pushed back the potential return to play date to May 1, 2020. Additionally, USYS has canceled all National Championships and Regional Championships. Decisions pertaining to TSSA regular season play and State Cup play will be made in the near future.
As a member club of both TSSA and USYS, TSC will follow suit and suspend all club activity through April 30 with a return to play date set for May 1.
This changing schedule unfortunately really puts our Spring season in jeopardy. Our staff is working hard on plans and we are hopeful we can get back on the field in May or June, but realize the experience could be very different. With these new updates we are finalizing our plans for club dues for the remainder of 2019-20 season. As we committed to you last week, we will find a fair solution regarding club dues and are in the process of meeting as an organization to formulate that plan. While our club leadership is having those discussions, we will continue to provide a quality experience for your player(s) to the best of our ability given the current circumstances.
We value each family within our organization and understand times are difficult for our community. We recognize that each family is facing a unique challenge. If you have questions about your club dues please contact our Director of Member Services Ronnie Woodard at email@example.com.
A few other club updates:
Our coaches and age group directors will remain engaged with your player(s) until our next planned communication scheduled for next Wednesday, April 8.
