35 Players Sign NLI for College Soccer

 FRANKLIN, TN - On Wednesday, November 10th, 35 graduating seniors from Tennessee Soccer Club will sign a National Letter of Intent to play soccer in college in the 2022-23 season.  TSC's mission of Developing Excellence has led to a continued drive in helping our student-athletes reach the next level of their soccer careers.


"Our goal every year is to provide opportunities for these boys and girls to compete at the highest levels and to move on to achieve success at the next level," TSC Executive Director Stuart Brown said.  "It makes us very proud to be able to help our players reach their ultimate goal."

 

As a part of TSC's College Recruitment Program, all U15-U19 players have access to many resources that aid them in the process of being recruited by college coaches and choosing the right school.  TSC hosts two College Information Nights and several recruiting seminars throughout the year.  The club also provides the recruiting service SportsRecruits for free as a part of club fees for all U15-U19 players.  In addition, TSC coaches and directors are constantly communicating with college coaches with regards to players.  TSC's mission is to help every player achieve their goals on and off the field.

Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Williamson County and the surrounding Greater Nashville area. TSC's Mission is "to promote a love for soccer by developing excellence in the game for our players and coaches to positively impact our member families and communities.”


Since 2012, TSC has been the premier youth soccer club in the state of Tennessee and currently serves over 3,500 players participating in recreational, competitive and/or supplemental soccer programs across four locations: TSC Murfreesboro, TSC Nashville, TSC Sumner and TSC Williamson. TSC teams compete locally, regionally, and nationally in leagues such as the Tennessee Youth Soccer League, USYS National League and Mid South Conference, and the Elite Clubs National League. TSC also fields two U23 pre-professional teams competing in USL W League (women’s) and USL League Two (men’s). TSC has won multiple state and national championships in recent years through competition in these leagues.

MURFREESBORO, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club crowned four 2025 Tennessee Spring State Cup Champions this past weekend in Murfreesboro, TN at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex. In addition, three other TSC teams finished as finalists in the competition. “We are very proud of all our TSC teams that qualified for State Cup this spring,” Director of Soccer Stephen Jordan said. “Seeing the joy on the faces of the players as they compete and the success they have on the field shows the quality of players and coaches we have at TSC.” In total, TSC teams won six Tennessee State Cup Championships this year as well as six finalist appearances, including both the fall and spring state cup tournaments. In all 52 TSC teams competed in the two tournaments. On Saturday, the TSC Williamson 2009 Girls Showcase started off the celebrations with a 2-0 victory over Chattanooga FC. Sunday brought three more trophy ceremonies led by TSC Murfreesboro 2012 Girls Showcase capping off an incredible year, undefeated in the Mid South Regional League and Tennessee State League. Later in the day, TSC Williamson 2006/07 Girls Showcase and TSC 2011 ECNL RL Girls also tasted victory, both in dramatic penalty shootouts to become state cup champions. In addition to the four champions, three other TSC teams reached the finals. The TSC Sumner 2008 Girls Showcase, TSC Williamson 2012 Girls Showcase, and TSC Williamson 2014 Girls Academy Premier Blue all battled in hard fought games and earned finalist medals. “We are very proud of our players, coaches, and parents for constantly showing why TSC is a wonderful place for a youth soccer experience for all,” said Executive Director Stuart Brown. “It has been a great 2024-25 for our TSC teams and it is not over as teams advance to Regionals and Nationals. FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club’s Tournament Series continued this weekend hosting its annual Tennessee Invitational. The TNI brought in more than 5,600 players, over 240 referees, and nearly 18,000 visitors to the Greater Nashville area. “Even with the weather challenges on Saturday, it was great to see kids playing the game they love and smiling this weekend,” said TSC Tournament Director & Events Coordinator Jimmy Drain. “Every year, the level of competition keeps improving each year. We are excited to continue our TSC Tournament Series with the Battleground Tournament of Champions coming up in September.” In total, 421 teams from 13 different states and 69 soccer organizations represented the tournament field. Over 200 teams traveled from out of state and contributed to the local economies and visited the area. The annual May event hosted 672 games utilizing 54 fields across six venues in Williamson and Davidson Counties in hosting the event. FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club announced Friday the addition of National Premier Leagues (NPL) to its expansive player development pathway. NPL is governed by US Club Soccer, a national association member of the U.S. Soccer Federation. US Club Soccer also oversees the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) which TSC competes at the National and Regional League levels. “We are thrilled to join the NPL for the 2025-26 season,” said Director of Soccer Stephen Jordan. “Tennessee Soccer Club is consistently looking to develop excellence in all areas of the game, and the addition of joining National Premier Leagues will enable us to continue to do so.” TSC’s NPL teams will compete in the South Atlantic Premier League (SAPL), joining clubs from Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. “Our participation in this league will enhance our programming and elevate our opportunities for player development across multiple levels of our club,” Jordan added. The NPL, which formed in 2011, is nationwide platform connecting 17 regional leagues and more than 2,500 teams with a national postseason pathway. The annual NPL Finals is the coveted destination of all participants through year-long, league-based competition. Since 2019, the NPL Finals has been hosted at the prestigious DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colorado. This year’s finale will be held July 7-14. FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club hosted its annual Soccer-A-Thon on Saturday at Robert Ring Arena in Franklin, TN to raise money for the Special Olympics Tennessee (SOTN). The event was a resounding success, raising over $15,000 to help the SOTN with its soccer program. The current Soccer-A-Thon fundraiser will keep accepting donations until Friday, February 28th with a mission to raise even more funds for the Special Olympics athletes and TSC. You can donate here . Nearly 50 TSC players and coaches attended to run the hour-long clinic for the Special Olympic athletes. “It always warms the heart to see the interactions between our coaches and players with the Special Olympics athletes,” said TSC Tournament Director & Events Coordinator Jimmy Drain. “Seeing the joy and the smiles on everyone’s faces makes it all worth it." TSC began working with Special Olympics Tennessee in 2016 and has helped raise almost $250,000 toward the cause. “A big part of TSC Cares and the Soccer-A-Thon is sharing our passion for soccer. We are looking forward to next year and hosting another successful event,” Drain added. Tennessee Soccer Club established the TSC Cares program in 2017 as the philanthropic mission of TSC to aid in Building the Community in the Greater Nashville and Middle Tennessee area.
