Mar 29, 2022

FRANKLIN, TN - Tennessee Soccer Club has named Coy Boazman as the new TSC Nashville Director and Director of Recreational Soccer beginning for the 2022-23 season.

“Coy is going to be a great addition to our full-time staff,” said TSC Director of Operations and Development Taylor Johnson. “He is a long-time resident of Bellevue with many ties to the community, which is really important to us. Coy's leadership and presence will make an immediate positive impact on our TSC Nashville and HYSA Rec families.”

Boazman has lived and coached in the Nashville area since 2010. Prior to TSC, Coy coached for Nashville FC Youth on both the boys and girls side of the club. He holds a D License from the United States Soccer Federation and the Youth License from United States Youth Soccer. Boazman served as an Academy Scout for the Houston Dynamo from 2008-2010 and has coached for the Tennessee State Olympic Development Program.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to be part of Nashville’s long running soccer tradition that has always been rooted in Bellevue’s Harpeth Youth Soccer Complex,” Boazman said. “I look forward to continuing the commitment the TSC has made to positively impact players, families, and community partners through love of the game.”

Boazman will begin in his official capacity as TSC Nashville and HYSA Recreation Director this summer for the 2022-23 year. This spring, Boazman will help current Director of Recreational Soccer Dan Sidebottom and TSC Nashville Director Josh Severns to ensure a smooth transition in roles. Severns and Sidebottom will remain with TSC, with Severns continuing to serve as U12-U14 Boys Director of Coaching and Sidebottom focusing on other areas of the club.
