TSC Announces Kyle Swanson as new Assistant Director of Goalkeeping
FRANKLIN, TN - Tennessee Soccer Club has named Kyle Swanson the new Assistant Director of Goalkeeping. Swanson joins the TSC goalkeeping program alongside Director of Goalkeeping Bob Jeffrey and will begin immediately, working primarily with the ECNL and ECNL Regional League goalkeepers.
“We are excited to welcome Kyle to Middle TN and to Tennessee Soccer Club,” said TSC Director of Soccer Stephen Jordan. “He will help Bob tremendously and bring new energy to our goalkeeping program.”
Swanson, a Chicago native, moved to Middle Tennessee after spending years in the United Kingdom. He was the goalkeeping coach for the Swansea City AFC Women's First Team, where Swanson coached the goalkeepers in the UEFA Women's Champions League, in addition to serving as the Head of Goalkeeping in the Girls Development Centre. Prior to his stint at Swansea, he coached the goalkeepers for the Men’s Welsh 2nd division side, Pontypridd United First Team, where he helped them reach promotion into the Welsh Premier League. Stateside, Swanson also worked with River Light FC in the USL W League and USL League Two outside of Chicago, IL. Collegiately, he coached the goalkeepers at Rockford University.
“Kyle is going to make a great impact on our goalkeepers and help our club immediately in this role,” said TSC Executive Director Stuart Brown. “He brings energy and enthusiasm as well as unique experiences abroad. We are happy to bring Kyle on board to help Bob take our goalkeeping program to the next level.”

As a player, Swanson played in goal for the Pontypridd United Reserves. He holds the UEFA B License as well as the Scottish FA Goalkeeping certificate. Kyle currently resides in Franklin, TN.

Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Williamson County and the surrounding Greater Nashville area. TSC's Mission is "to promote a love for soccer by developing excellence in the game for our players and coaches to positively impact our member families and communities.”
Since 2012, TSC has been the premier youth soccer club in the state of Tennessee and currently serves over 3,500 players participating in recreational, competitive and/or supplemental soccer programs across four locations: TSC Murfreesboro, TSC Nashville, TSC Sumner and TSC Williamson. TSC teams compete locally, regionally, and nationally in leagues such as the Tennessee Youth Soccer League, USYS National League and Mid South Conference, and the Elite Clubs National League. TSC also fields two U23 pre-professional teams competing in USL W League (women’s) and USL League Two (men’s). TSC has won multiple state and national championships in recent years through competition in these leagues.
