Bob Jeffrey Named New TSC Director of Goalkeeping
FRANKLIN, TN - Tennessee Soccer Club has hired Bob Jeffrey as its new Director of Goalkeeping. Jeffrey comes to Middle TN after a stellar career as a coach and GK Director at the youth and professional level.
“Bringing Bob into the club is a tremendous addition for us,” said Director of Soccer Stephen Jordan. “He is bringing such great experience and knowledge that will translate directly into to our goalkeepers’ development.”
In his role with TSC, Jeffrey will lead the efforts in developing all goalkeepers at all levels and locations across the club.
Jeffrey comes to Middle TN from North Shore United in Wisconsin where he has worked as Goalkeeping Director. Prior to coming to the States, Jeffrey had various successful stints in Wales (his home country) at the professional and international levels.
From 2014-2016, he managed Llanelli Town of the Wales Premier League for two seasons. The club had much success under Bob, and he succeeded in keeping the team at the top level of professional football in the country during his tenure as head coach.
Jeffrey was the Head Coach of the Wales U18 National Team in Wales UK from 2010-2014.
In 2006 he started as the Head of Youth Development at Llanelli Town AFC, overseeing all aspects of developing the club’s academy. He stayed in this role until 2010. The club achieved great success with Jeffrey in this role, sending players to the Wales Men’s National Team and the U23, U21 and U18 national teams. Several players ascended to the English Premier League. Llanelli won Wales FA Youth League Championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010, Wales FA Youth League Cups in 2009 and 2010, and the Wales FA Youth Cup in 2009.

Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Williamson County and the surrounding Greater Nashville area. TSC's Mission is "to promote a love for soccer by developing excellence in the game for our players and coaches to positively impact our member families and communities.”
Since 2012, TSC has been the premier youth soccer club in the state of Tennessee and currently serves over 3,500 players participating in recreational, competitive and/or supplemental soccer programs across four locations: TSC Murfreesboro, TSC Nashville, TSC Sumner and TSC Williamson. TSC teams compete locally, regionally, and nationally in leagues such as the Tennessee Youth Soccer League, USYS National League and Mid South Conference, and the Elite Clubs National League. TSC also fields two U23 pre-professional teams competing in USL W League (women’s) and USL League Two (men’s). TSC has won multiple state and national championships in recent years through competition in these leagues.
