TNI Draws Nearly 400 Teams to Greater Nashville
FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club hosted its annual Tennessee Invitational presented by Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics this weekend bringing in nearly 6,000 players and over 15,000 visitors to the Greater Nashville area.
The annual May event utilized 50 soccer fields across Williamson and Davidson County. Williamson County Soccer Complex and Franklin Recreation Center in Franklin, TN, Crockett Park in Brentwood, TN, and Harpeth Soccer Complex in Nashville, TN played host to the event.
“TNI 2023 was a huge success, on and off the fields, and we are so appreciative of everyone’s participation over the weekend,” said TSC Tournament Director & Events Coordinator Jimmy Drain. “We saw a lot of great soccer across all 3 days of action and it was exciting to see all of the smiling faces yesterday at the award presentations. We want to thank all of the referees and volunteers who worked over the weekend. We cannot make these events happen without your support. We also hope all the traveling teams made it back to their respective cities safely. This was our second largest tournament ever and we are already looking forward to our next event Sept 15-17 (Battleground Tournament of Champions).”
In total, 380 teams from 12 different states and 71 soccer organizations represented the tournament field. Over 200 teams traveled from out of town and contributed to the local economies and visited the area.
TSC will host its next outdoor tournament, the Battleground Tournament of Champions the weekend of September 15-17. The event will be hosted across Williamson and Davidson counties in the Greater Nashville area.

Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Williamson County and the surrounding Greater Nashville area. TSC's Mission is "to promote a love for soccer by developing excellence in the game for our players and coaches to positively impact our member families and communities.”
Since 2012, TSC has been the premier youth soccer club in the state of Tennessee and currently serves over 3,500 players participating in recreational, competitive and/or supplemental soccer programs across four locations: TSC Murfreesboro, TSC Nashville, TSC Sumner and TSC Williamson. TSC teams compete locally, regionally, and nationally in leagues such as the Tennessee Youth Soccer League, USYS National League and Mid South Conference, and the Elite Clubs National League. TSC also fields two U23 pre-professional teams competing in USL W League (women’s) and USL League Two (men’s). TSC has won multiple state and national championships in recent years through competition in these leagues.
