Haddock and Craft on 2022 Women’s MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

Aug 18, 2022

FRANKLIN, TN – Former Tennessee Soccer Player Anna Haddock and 2022 TSC USL W League teammate Shelby Clark have been named to the 2022 Women’s MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List on Thursday.

The Hermann Trophy, presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club, is the nation’s highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by the voting of Division I coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.

“I'm really honored to be named alongside some of the country's best players,” Haddock said. “I truly couldn't be the player I am without my incredible teammates and staff here at Auburn. I have a feeling it's going to be a good year for us.”

Haddock, a midfielder at Auburn University, was named First Team All-SEC last year as well as CoSIDA Academic All-America. Top Drawer Soccer ranked her as the #15 Player in the Nation this season.

Craft, a junior at Lipscomb University after transferring from Penn State University, was 2021 ASUN Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference. In addition, she was named First Team All-Region by the United Soccer Coaches.

“We are incredibly proud of Anna and Shelby for being recognized,” said TSC USL W Head Coach Dalton Kaufman “To be acknowledged as one of the top players in the entire country is a tremendous accomplishment and a credit to the players and women they are. They are wonderful role models representing TSC.”
