Logan Fisher Named Girls Academy Director, With Transition to New Role Set to Begin Immediately

Apr 03, 2023

Franklin, TN – Logan Fisher has been named Girls Academy Director for Tennessee Soccer Club.  Fisher will transition from his current role as Director of Goalkeeping to the Academy during the next eight weeks leading into tryouts. Former Girls Academy Director Sterling Nabours will step into a new role with TSC as Camp and Community Program Director.

“We are really excited to announce Logan as our new Girls Academy Director,” said Executive Director Stuart Brown. “Over the last decade, Sterling Nabours and his staff did a great job laying the foundation for our younger female players at this club. I am confident that Logan can continue building off of that and make tremendous progress toward developing these young players for years to come.”

Fisher has been in soccer coaching and director roles since graduating from Francis Marion University in 2015. After completing his education and playing career, Fisher spent several years coaching at the club and collegiate levels in South Carolina before moving to Tennessee in 2018. He spent his first three years in Tennessee as a staff coach with TSC before accepting the position as MTFC / Quest Director of Coaching. In 2022, Fisher returned to TSC as a USL Assistant Coach and Director of Goalkeeping.

“I am thrilled to take on the role as Girls Academy Director” said Fisher. “I want to thank Stuart and [Director of Soccer] Stephen Jordan for this opportunity. I want to thank Sterling for the hard work he has done in his tenure as Girls Academy Director. Without his hard work, the Girls Academy would not be what it is today. I also want to thank the current Academy coaches for their hard work and dedication to the Club and our players. Without them the Girls Academy does not operate. Lastly, I want to thank the players and parents in the Girls Academy. You have choices as to where your player develops as a soccer player and a person. You choose TSC and I will always be thankful for that.”

All Girls Academy families will receive more information about this transition via PlayMetrics this week.
