Oct 19, 2022

FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club forward Maddie Padelski was invited into the United States Under-16 Women’s Youth National Team Tuesday evening. Padelski, who plays for the 2007 ECNL team, will travel to the Nike World Headquarters in Portland, OR for a training camp running from October 23-30. She will join a pool of 23 players named to the roster by new U-16 WYNT head coach Patchy Toledo.

“We are exceptionally proud of Maddie and all she has accomplished,” ECNL Director Greg Warden said. “Maddie has made big strides in her development and is well deserving of this opportunity.”

The past 12 months has been exciting for the sophomore. Padelski has been invited to the ECNL National Training Camp, attended an Olympic Development Program National Training Center, invited to the USYNT Identification Center, and was selected to the National Selection Game at the ECNL Houston event.

“This opportunity has been dreamed about since I was 8 years old and first watched the USWNT senior team,” said Padelski. “I feel so extremely blessed for this important step in my soccer journey and can’t wait for this experience!”

TSC has a history of players being invited to their respective youth national teams. Katie Shea Collins, Avery Clark, and Karlie Paschall have represented the club on the girls side and Tanner Dieterich, Brandon Tarr, and Daniel Kelly on the boys side. Current USL W League player Anna Haddock and TSC youth alum was also named to the US Under-23 Women’s Youth National Team this past spring.
